Cookie policy

How EUAIFit uses cookies and similar technologies. Last updated 23 August 2026.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how visitors use the service. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage where they are strictly necessary for the Service to function.

2. Cookies we use

We keep cookies to a minimum. The cookies we use fall into the following categories: Strictly necessary cookies These cookies are essential for the Service to work. They enable core features such as authentication, session management, and security. Because they are necessary, they cannot be turned off without breaking the Service. Examples: • Session and authentication tokens (via Next-Auth) • CSRF and security cookies • Preferences such as your theme or language choice Analytics and performance cookies We may use these cookies to understand how visitors move around the site and how the Service performs. They help us identify issues and improve the product. Where possible, we use privacy-focused settings and avoid collecting personal data. Examples: • Page views and navigation paths • Error and performance metrics • Device and browser type (anonymised) Marketing and third-party cookies We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required by law.

3. How long cookies last

The lifespan of a cookie depends on its purpose: • Session cookies expire when you close your browser. • Persistent authentication cookies last for the duration of your login session, typically up to 30 days, unless you sign out or change your password. • Preference cookies may last up to 1 year so you do not have to reset them each visit. • Analytics cookies, where used, typically expire after 12 months or less.

4. Managing your cookie preferences

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: • See what cookies have been set • Delete existing cookies • Block all or specific cookies • Notify you before a cookie is stored Please note that if you disable strictly necessary cookies, parts of EUAIFit — including sign-in and account access — may not work correctly. For more information about how to manage cookies in your browser, visit: • Google Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies • Safari: Preferences → Privacy • Mozilla Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

5. Third-party services

We use a limited number of third-party services that may set cookies or process data on our behalf: • Authentication providers (Google, Microsoft) — used only when you choose to sign in via SSO. • Hosting and infrastructure providers — may set security or load-balancing cookies. • Email and communication services — may set tracking pixels only in emails you have opted in to receive. We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or behavioural profiling tools. We do not sell cookie data or browsing history.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this cookie policy as the Service evolves or as legal requirements change. We will revise the "last updated" date below when we do. If you have questions about how we use cookies, contact us at support@euaifit.com. This cookie policy was last updated on 23 August 2026.
